If there are parts of his body that Kapuso hunk Luke Conde feels he should improve on, it is his legs and thighs.
Conde stressed this during his launch on Friday as the newest endorser of underwear brand Hanford.
“Honestly, ang talagang mahirap sa akin sa body type ko talaga is mag-gain talaga ng weight. Ang isa sa gusto ko talaga na i-develop ay ‘yung legs and thighs ko talaga kasi as a tall guy isa ‘yun sa mahirap i-build,” he said. (Honestly, what’s difficult in my body type is to gain weight. One thing that I would want to develop are my legs and thighs.)
“Considering sa height ko, medyo maliit siya nang konti. Hindi naman sa maliit pero mas gusto ko pa siyang magka-size,” he added. (Considering my height, my legs appear slimmer. It’s not that they’re that small, but I want it to be bigger.)
To address this, Conde said he needs some specific exercises to make his legs and thighs bigger.
“I need to do more heavy lifts when it comes to squats, bend lifts. It’s a bit technical in terms of workout, like lunges, to improve the legs and thighs,” he said.
Since he is now an underwear endorser, how far will he go when it comes to being sexy?
“When it comes to endorsement with Hanford, we’re still very wholesome because it’s a family brand. That’s all part of the branding,” he went on.
“I think that kind of perception depends on people. Whether they will consider it wholesome, or sexy, that’s up to them,” he added.
Conde feels very honored that he was chosen as brand ambassador, more so that the celebrity endorsers before him were all accomplished.
Being an endorser is something which Conde just dreamed of.
“Honestly speaking, I am overwhelmed because as an artist, the chance to endorse a product are being given to only a few. That’s why I am very happy that Handford granted my dream,” he said. EDV
