Weatherstate have shared their first new music since 2022, with their latest single ‘Hellbent’.
The Weymouth punk outfit recently dropped a cover of Green Day’s ‘Burnout’, to celebrate ten years together as a band, and now have some new music all of their own.
Speaking about the brand-new release and its central message, Weatherstate vocalist and guitarist Harry Hoskins has shared
“‘Hellbent’ is a reflection on everything we have been through as a band – feeling jaded from the ups and downs, and dealing with the noise from people that might not have your best interests at heart.
“As you get older you sometimes question why you are even doing this in the first place, and ultimately realise none of the bullshit matters.
“So I guess this song is a reminder to only put energy into things that actually add value to your life, and to do things the way you want.”
‘Hellbent’ was Weatherstate’s first song idea following the release of their 2022 ‘Never Better’ LP and saw them work once again with longtime producer Neil Kennedy.

As a further way to celebrate their decade as a band, Weatherstate are also releasing a limited-edition, special triple cassette tape of their first three releases.
Titled ‘All Bangers, No Clangers’, it will feature their ‘Dead Ends’ EP, ‘Dumbstruck’ EP and the album ‘Born a Cynic’.
This is the very first time that ‘Born a Cynic’ will be available on cassette and the run is limited to 50 copies.
Weatherstate are also soon about to head out on tour from the end of this month with US band Chlorine on a run that includes Teddy Rocks Festival.
