Sum 41 Deliver Final Live Performance, Get Inducted Into Canadian Music Hall of Fame

Sum 41 gave their final performance at the 2025 Juno Awards, where they were also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

In typical awards-show fashion, the pop-punk vets performed a medley during the ceremony on Sunday (March 30th), running through portions of their hits “Landmines,” “Fat Lip,” “Still Waiting,” and “In Too Deep.” With the band having wrapped up its final farewell tour dates in January, the medley will stand as Sum 41’s last-ever performance (unless they reunite in the future).

Also at the ceremony, the band of nearly 30 years was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, with Deryck Whibley and company being welcomed to the stage by fellow pop-punkers Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte.

“It’s surprising for us to be standing up here right now because Sum 41, we made a lot of fucking mistakes,” Whibley told the audience in the acceptance speech, in which he thanked the band’s families and fans. “But we’ve been lucky. We’ve had a lot of help and advice along the way, and we’d be here all night thanking everybody, so please know we love and appreciate you all, too.”

Whibley went on to acknowledge original drummer Steve Jocz, aka Stevo32, before adding, “This moment is surreal for us, because we’re not really an awards-show band. We’ve always just focused on being our best, not paying attention to anyone else — except for Iron Maiden, of course. But if I could sum up our journey in one word, it would be ‘persistence.’”

Sum 41 followed up their Juno Awards performance and Hall induction with the release of their final music video on Tuesday (April 1st), appropriately for the track “Radio Silence.”
