Public Circuit faces unresolved pain in new single ‘To The Grave’

New York City’s electronic post-punk outfit Public Circuit delivers another brooding glimpse into their upcoming album with the release of ‘To The Grave,’ a melancholic electro-pop single out today via à La Carte Records.
‘To The Grave’ is a searing meditation on the emotional residue that never fully fades. Built on glittering synths and fractured percussive textures, the track balances digital melancholy with sharp emotional clarity. Taken from Modern Church, out September 12, the song reflects on the burden of unresolved trauma, identity, and failed relationships—elements that haunt the band’s sonic and lyrical terrain.
“Life is frail – Many people live a life where they never fully resolve trauma, hatred, etc., and, therefore, take it to the grave with them. Whether it be childhood trauma, gender expression / exploration, or failed romances; this song is inspired by moments left unresolved or, otherwise, unspoken.”
