One of the most highly anticipated music festivals of the year is quickly approaching. Lollapalooza is set to bring several fan-favorite artists and up-and-coming musicians, all bringing a very distinctive sound throughout the 4-day event. Among the list of acclaimed acts taking the stage at Grant Park in Downtown Chicago, Latin musicians are making a mark in 2023.
Starting with Karol G’s historic performance as the top-lining acts at Lollapalooza.

Karol G will be making history as the first female Latin artist to headline Lollapalooza, following her incredible performance at Coachella last year. The Colombian star has reached success with her latest album ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ and is set to start her new U.S. Stadium Tour.

Jessie Reyez has positioned herself as one of the most talented singers and songwriters. The Canadian-Colombian artist sings in both Spanish and English, as she grew up with diverse music influences, including Cumbia. She is currently on tour with her longtime collaborator Sam Smith following the release of her album ‘YESSIE’ and her new music video ‘STILL C U.’

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Ari Abdul has forged her own brand of alternative pop. When it comes to her love for music, Isabel LaRosa credits her parents and her heritage. Playing music at local Annapolis jazz jams and open mic nights. She was raised with “a steady diet of classic rock and salsa,” describing her mom as “a true Cuban.” LaRosa signed to RCA Records in 2021 and released her debut EP, I’m Watching You , in 2022, releasing her 2022 single I’m Yours , which quickly went viral.

Jean Dawson continues his path to success as a proud Afro-Mexican artist. Influenced by rock, rap and Latin music, Dawson created his own style inspired by some legendary artists such as Nirvana, Mike Jones, Beach Fossils, Kanye West, The Smiths, Outkast, 50 Cent and more. His latest album catapulted him as it debuted in the top 10 for both Spotify and Apple, with his fans eagerly awaiting his upcoming release with SZA.
