South London psych-punk trio Hot Face is back with their explosive new single, ’17 Day Migraine,’ released today, October 8th, 2024.

On ’17 Day Migraine,’ Hot Face races through powerful riffs and rapid-fire rhythms, capturing the intensity of their live performances. With influences ranging from The 13th Floor Elevators to Wire, the track is a sonic whirlwind of gritty chords and anarchic freak-outs. Recorded with Alexis Smith (Speedy Wunderground) and Tom Wilson Kellet (Moreish Idols), the single has all the visceral qualities that fans have come to expect from the band.

Describing the inspiration behind the song, Hot Face explains:

“Inspired by a story recited on a rainy night in Soho, ’17 Day Migraine’ is a manifestation of anarchic scenes and surreal nihilism, sonically channeling the likes of The 13th Floor Elevators, Wire and CTMF.”

’17 Day Migraine’ is out now.
