Green Day have shared a brand-new video offering a glimpse into the recording process of their latest ‘Dilemma’ single.
The track is the third taste of Green Day’s forthcoming ‘Saviors’ album, which arrives January 19.
The pop-punk legends recorded ‘Dilemma’ at London’s RAK Studios with producer and longtime collaborator Rob Cavallo.
Have a watch of some of that process via the black-and-white video below.
‘Dilemma’ follows the release of their forthcoming album’s lead single ‘The American Dream Is Killing Me’ and follow-up track ‘Look Ma, No Brains’.
Upon the release of their latest single, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong explained:
“‘Dilemma’ was one of those songs that was kind of easy to write because it was so personal to me.
“We’ve seen so many of our peers struggle with addiction and mental illness. This song is all about the pain that comes from those experiences.”
And if the latest video wasn’t enough to get you in the mood for another Green Day album, Rock Sound posed the question ‘what’s your favourite Green Day song?’ to the pop-punk bands playing at this year’s incredible When We Were Young Festival – have a watch below.
