Rising alt-rock and post-emo star GARZI has shared his latest single, ‘Much Better’.
Out now via Sumerian Records, the track sees the artist tackle the subject of mental health with his typically varied mix of influences.
Speaking about the new track, the Miami artist has explained:
“A song that touches on depression being recognised as the dopamine of validation while also having head-trip battles with the inner voice trying to convince oneself that they are ‘feeling much better’.
“In those moments of feeling better, we try to hang onto it and keep it together. It’s a powerful message disguised as a big song.”

Having grown up inspired by Warped Tour, GARZI gravitated toward the likes of Memphis May Fire and Sleeping With Sirens, saying of his influences:
“It was a fitting soundtrack to feelings of isolation, of being an outsider during those teenage years especially as a POC punk.”
In October 2017, he uploaded his first song and quit his job the next day to follow his dream of making music full-time.
Fast-forward to late 2023 and the emerging artists signed to esteemed independent label, Sumerian Records and is poised to make even greater strides in the near future.
