ELLiS·D releases glam-punk odyssey ‘Drifting’ ahead of upcoming EP

Brighton goth-punk artist ELLiS·D has unveiled ‘Drifting,’ an electrifying single set to pave the way for his sophomore EP, Spill, arriving on March 21 via Crafting Room Recordings.
Clocking in at seven minutes, ‘Drifting’ encapsulates the raw energy and dynamic chaos of ELLiS·D’s renowned live performances. With whiplash riffs, psychedelic breakdowns, and false endings that build to roaring returns, the track serves as a bold showcase of his motorik-glam sound. Written and performed entirely by Ellis Dickson (ELLiS·D himself), the single was recorded at Hackney Road Studios alongside producer Shuta Shinoda (Hot Chip, Jehnny Beth).
Offering more insight on the track, ELLiS·D (real name Ellis Dickson) says:
“‘Drifting’ is by far my favourite track to play live. It has been through a fair few iterations, gets everyone going and always ends up going somewhere slightly different with each performance.”
‘Drifting’ is out now, offering a thrilling glimpse into the dark, dazzling world of Spill.
