Delilah Bon has shared the title track for her forthcoming album, ‘Evil, Hate Filled Female’, which arrives September 13.
The new track follows the release of singles ‘Maverick’ and ‘Finally See Me’ that likewise offered fans a glimpse into the forthcoming project, which is both self-produced and arrives via the artist’s own label.
‘Evil, Hate Filled Female’ arrives with a mischievous official video, of which Delilah has said:
“It’s about becoming the villain you’re always made out to be… We aren’t these sweet and innocent little girls anymore, we are rage-filled and we are allowed to be angry.”
Have a watch of the video below to see just what that entails.
Across its 14 tracks, Delilah’s ‘Evil, Hate Filled Female’ LP is said to be a record that explores themes of escapism with hard-hitting social commentary and honest admissions, with the singer sharing:
“It’s about turning the tables on hate and reclaiming our power. We are truly in our villain era, and this album is our soundtrack.”
Delilah has also announced an 18-date UK and European headline tour, which commences at the end of September at Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach.
The singer is also set to light up stages with her ‘brat punk’ attitude at Download Festival, Glastonbury, 2000 Trees and many more.
