Manchester indie risers Delights have released ‘Hotel Bar,’ the second single from their highly anticipated debut album If Heaven Looks A Little Like This, due January 17, 2025, via Modern Sky.
Following a year filled with milestones, including supporting Blossoms and selling out the pre-order of their debut album in under thirty minutes, Delights returns with their latest track, ‘Hotel Bar.’ On it, the band channels a lowkey funk aesthetic with a smooth, slinky groove inspired by the likes of Men I Trust and Daft Punk. The single paints a vivid scene of a rare luxurious moment during the band’s tour life, one defined by spa relaxation and indulgent hotel bar drinks.
Singer Adam Maxwell explains:
“Our guitarist [Ben] Squires works at a spa and he gets a discount, so, in Bristol, we ended up staying in this really nice spa,” singer Maxwell explains. “We were walking around in slippers and white gowns, having the best time of our lives. We got back and headed to the hotel bar and ordered the most obnoxious, complicated drinks. It was just about the experience of all of us together.”
‘Hotel Bar’ is out now.
