Avril Lavigne new music

On Feb. 25, 2022, Lavigne dropped her seventh studio album “Love Sux.”

Comprised of 12 tight tracks, the record is pure, fist-pumping pop-punk.

On first listen, our team gravitated to the angsty “Bite Me,” the non-stop thrill ride “Love Sux” and the slow build of “Avalanche.”

The anthemic “All I Wanted” duet with Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus is certainly worth a listen as well. Even if Lavigne didn’t play it live last tour — “All I Wanted” might be a solid request on the ‘Greatest Hits Tour.’

If you want to hear the energetic, party-starting “Love Sux” yourself, you can find the album here.
