This week we’re highlighting new music from Wet Leg, HEALTH, and Vince Staples.
Wet Leg – Wet Leg
Wet Leg is the eponymous debut studio album by British rock band Wet Leg. The album has been on many top lists of most anticipated for 2022 since the release of their first single and viral track, ‘Chaise Lounge.’ The album, primarily recorded in April of 2021, was produced by Dan Carey, Jon McMullen, and Josh Mobaraki. On it, the band brings their brand of post-punk fun to the forefront through their use of dry lyrics paired with hard-hitting guitars. File Wet Leg under irresistible duo indie sensation. They are worth the hype.
Standout Songs: Chaise Lounge, Angelica, I Don’t Wanna Go Out, Wet Dream, Oh No, Too Late Now

HEALTH – DISCO4 :: PART II
HEALTH seems to have caught on to something with the release of Disco4: Part I in October of 2020. And what they caught on to was the joy and energy of the “collaboration”. With the release of Disco4: Part II, HEALTH has taken that thought to the extreme. Disco4: Part II sees the Los Angeles outfit pairing up with the likes of Poppy, Nine Inch Nails, Lamb of God, Backxwash, HO99O9XXX, and more. Part industrial metal, part electro-pop, DISCO4 :: PART II feels like a cohesive package, yet plays like a mixtape. And although many of the songs have been previously released, the album is fresh, new, and will certainly dominate any room when pumping through the air.
Standout Songs: DEAD FLOWERS, ISN’T EVERYONE, IDENTITY, GNOSTIC FLESH/MORTAL HELL

Vince Staples – RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART
Vince Staples is back with his 5th album, RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART. The project follows up on his 2021 self-titled, Vince Staples which was released less than a year ago. There are a lot of parallels that can be made to that album. In a press release for RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART, Vince said, “There’s a direct correlation [between the albums]…They were kind of created at the same time. I was in a similar state of mind. I’m still working through things and the questions that life poses. This album will make even more sense if you heard the previous one.” The album’s two singles, ‘Magic’ and Rose Street’ set the stage for what to expect on RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART: An outspoken, approachable album that could easily become his most commercially successful album to date.
Standout Songs: AYE! (FREE THE HOMIES), MAGIC WITH MUSTARD, WHEN SPARKS FLY, PAPERCUTS, PLAYER WAYS, ROSE STREET
