Zac Brown Band have become the latest band to secure a coveted booking at Las Vegas’ Sphere. This December, the two-decade country-rock ensemble will grace the technologically unparalleled stage for four performances that will pair their chart-topping catalog with captivating visual storytelling. The Sphere run will support the release of Love & Fear, the band’s seventh studio album, set to release on Friday, Dec. 5 via Warner Music Nashville.
“Bringing our new album Love & Fear to Sphere in Las Vegas is a dream come true,” Zac Brown shared in a statement. “It’s my masterpiece so far. This show is the story of my life that I have never shared, a journey through my imagination, music and stories that have defined who I am. All of this brought to life in the incredible immersive environment of Sphere. It will be a unique experience where you can really feel every note, every word, right there with us. We can’t wait to share it with the fans.”
Zac Brown Band’s residency will commence with the new record’s release on Dec. 5, then continue with three further stagings on Dec. 6, 12 and 13. The band will be the second group to bring country music to Sphere after Kenny Chesney’s series in May and June, and the ninth act to take the stage after U2, Phish, Dead & Company, the Eagles, Anyma, Chesney, Backstreet Boys and Unity, featuring Chase & Status, Kaskade and Eli Brown. In a comment for Billboard, Brown detailed that he began working on his follow-up to 2021’s The Comeback two and a half years ago, while production on Sphere visuals followed suit 14 months ago. In keeping with a theme of previous Sphere stagings, the frontman confirmed that he expects more dates to be added.
Tickets for Zac Brown Band’s Sphere residency will become available to the group’s Zamily fan club on July 21 at 1 p.m. ET. A general on-sale will follow on July 25 at 1 p.m. ET. Register for early access and learn more at zacbrownband.com.
