All proceeds from the single will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorns Children’s Hospice.

On the experience of covering the band’s 1972 track at Villa Park, Yungblud has said:

“This was hands down one of the biggest moments of my life. I got to stand on stage and honour one of my heroes and the fact that it has touched so many is truly overwhelming.

“The best part about this release is that we can take such a monumental moment, immortalise it on tape, release it and donate all the money to such important causes in Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice. This is what rock’n’roll is about. Stream it, buy it, add it to your playlist – let’s raise some fucking money.”

Featuring Nuno Bettencourt, Sleep Token’s II, Frank Bello and Adam Wakeman, the cover has been approved by The Prince Of Darkness himself, with the metal icon saying:

“He did an amazing job. I couldn’t have done it better myself.”

Yesterday (July 17), tickets went on sale for Yungblud’s upcoming documentary film ‘Yungblud. Are You Ready, Son?’.

With screenings taking place in cinemas in 30 countries across the globe – including 150 UK cinemas – you can grab yours here.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Paul Dugdale, the two-hour-long documentary was shot at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, the birthplace of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’, U2’s ‘Achtung Baby!’ and countless other iconic albums.

The film follows Yungblud and his band as he records live performances of tracks from his latest album, ‘Idols’, for the very first time. With no live audience present, it offers an unapologetic behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and the performances in their purest form.
