Yungblud Drops Anthemic Single 'Lovesick Lullaby'

Yungblud has unveiled his latest single ‘Lovesick Lullaby’, a brazen, anthemic ode to all things British.

Following his return with the epic, classic rock-influenced, 9 minute long ‘Hello Heaven, Hello’ last month, it’s the next taste of Yungblud’s new era.

On the inspiration behind the track, Dom said:

Making this song was a f*cking party and you can hear that on the recording… [I tried to] let my subconscious do a lot of the talking and then make sense of my words the following afternoon in a kitchen, hungover, eating fish and chips with a cup of tea… I’ve been on a journey trying to find meaning in different places all over the world, for which I am forever grateful, but it felt as though my feet left the ground a little too much and I had to bring myself back… to British music, to British art and culture.

Check it out below:

The official music video for ‘Lovesick Lullaby’ will arrive at 4pm BST today (April 25).

Directed by Charlie Sarsfield, it sees Dom celebrating all things British, from Burberry to Mini Coopers.

‘Lovesick Lullaby’ arrives ahead of the return of Yungblud’s Bludfest event this summer, which will take place at Milton Keynes Bowl on June 21. Other acts on the lineup include Chase Atlantic, blackbear and Denzel Curry.

We caught up with Dom backstage at the first Bludfest last August, watch that chat below:
