Young Sheldon's Ava Allan in Workout Gear is "Gorgeous" Boxing

Ava Allan is packing the punches – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the Young Sheldon star shows off her boxing skills and amazing figure during an impressive workout session. “Put me in any element and I’ll play the part,” she captioned the post. How does the actress approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

In the morning Ava throws on a pair of sweats and leashes up her pooch. “I like to take my dog for a walk in the morning. So I usually just take my dog for about a 20 minute morning walk just around my neighborhood,” she said, detailing her daily routine with Daily Motion.

Ava fuels up with healthy food in the morning. “Now my breakfast switches up a lot, but today I just had fresh fruit and then I also had some yogurt with granola while eating my breakfast,” she told Daily Motion.

Ava makes sure to stretch before working out. “Morning stretch,” she captioned a photo. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Ava is a coffee drinker. “It’s the simple things,” she captioned a photo of herself enjoying a cup of Joe. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

As can be evidenced in her post, Ava relies on boxing to keep her in shape. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.
