Yard Act have announced a new batch of North American tour dates set for this fall in support of their upcoming sophomore album, Where’s My Utopia?
The new dates follow Yard Act’s previously announced UK and Europe tour, and commence on October 2nd in Minneapolis. They’ll then make their way east, hitting cities like Chicago, Montreal, Philadelphia, New York City, and Atlanta. The brief North American jaunt concludes on October 19th with a date at Mexico City’s Foro Puebla. A Live Nation pre-sale for Yard Act’s 2024 North American tour will begin on Thursday, February 15th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use access code ENERGY). Tickets will go on-sale for the general public starting Friday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Once tickets are on sale, fans can also look for deals and get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. To further promote Where’s My Utopia? — which we named as one of the most anticipated albums of 2024 — Yard Act stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform their recent single “We Make Hits.” Complete with multiple background singers, the performance highlights the band’s groovy instrumentals and James Smith’s inimitable lyrics (“And if it’s not a hit/ We were being ironic” is the song’s concluding couplet). Where’s My Utopia? is available everywhere on March 1st. “We Make Hits” follows earlier singles, “Dream Job” and “Petroleum.”
