xQc accuses Kai Cenat’s friends Reggie & Rakai of viewbotting on Twitch

Streaming star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has accused some of Kai Cenat’s closest friends of viewbotting their Twitch streamers to grow their own success.

Viewbotting has always been an issue on livestreaming platforms. Some trolls will use viewbots to land a streamer in trouble, while some streamers will use them to try and grow their channels in the hopes that no one notices. Though, people usually notice.

If you’re caught purposely viewbotting, not only are those fake viewers going to be taken away, but your channel is likely to be banned as well. After all, it is a violation of Twitch’s rules.

Most recently, Twitch viewers were shocked to see streamer QueengloriaRP blatantly viewbotting her channel. She was banned a short time after that and plenty of other creators have weighed in.

xQc hits out at supposed Twitch viewbotting

Now, xQc – who splits his time between Twitch and KICK these days – is accusing Kai Cenat’s friends, Rakai and Reggie, of using viewbots.

“Some of Kai’s friends though, if I speak,” he said on his April 9 stream. “Yesterday, I didn’t even know about this guy (Reggie) and now he’s the GOAT! 1k, next day is 800 (viewers), next day 8k, and next day 60k, that’s the GOAT! That’s the absolute GOAT of streaming.”

Some viewers argued that Kai had been raiding his friends, thus leading to a big uptick in viewership. “Some of these numbers, we’re talking 20% chat activity. That’s like diabolical. That is undefendable,” xQc argued.

The former Overwatch star doubled down on things shortly after that. “They’re all viewbotters, I don’t give a f*ck saying that,” he added.

“I don’t give a f*ck, they’re all viewbotters, I don’t care. From a 1K Andy to 20k overnight, like bro, I’ve been here before, I’m not stupid, they’re botted out the wazoo. I’d be open to the conversation that it is their agency doing it.”

He was keen to add, however, that he wasn’t taking any shots at Kai. “I just brought it up because I thought it was crazy.

“None of this is at Kai. Kai has been really legit on all fronts, I have nothing against Kai ever. I’m just making a point. I try my best to not name names when I do s*it, I try to show my points without doing a witch hunt and calling people by name. You call people out by name and can’t prove anything? Then what?”

As noted, viewbotting is in violation of Twitch’s rules, so if it was to be proven, the channels could be in serious trouble.
