PERFECT Match star Xanthi Perdikomatis has cleared the air about multiple rumors regarding her relationship status, including whether she had a boyfriend during filming.
The reality star appeared on Friday’s episode of the After Curfew podcast, where she opened up about the claims.
Xanthi, 28, chatted with host Jillian Lena in the car for the debut of the Sweet Treat Run video series, in which the pair snacked on candy and salty snacks throughout the interview.
The TV personality starred in the second season of the Netflix dating show Perfect Match, which wrapped on June 21.
She was eliminated earlier in the season, but that didn’t exclude her from the rumor mill that ensued, particularly about her supposedly having a significant other upon entering the villa.
The Circle alum addressed the chatter with Jillian and called out her costar, Chris Hahn, 30, for allegedly starting the rumors.

‘NO ONE BELIEVED THAT’
“Okay, we can thank Chris Hahn for this one. So he, or somebody, or the boys, or whoever, whatever, made up a rumor saying that I had a boyfriend while filming Perfect Match,” Xanthi prefaced.
“Like boy, if you knew the type of men that I date, they would never. They would never, you know, and also, like, I’m such a loyal girl, like, I don’t, I wouldn’t go on a dating show,” she defended.
“It’s a dating show, right? So, like, whose boyfriend or girlfriend would be okay with them sitting there making out, lap dances, toe sucking, like, you know what I mean?
“That was the craziest rumor I’ve ever heard. I was just like, and knowing who I am, too, as a woman, like, good try, homeboy, like no one believed that, except you’re little posse of whatever,” Xanthi ended.
Earlier in the interview, Xanthi revealed that she is single and open to dating since failing to find her perfect match on the show.
However, she clarified that she was not romantically involved with her fellow Perfect Match castmate, Justin Assad, 27, despite rumors that they’re an item.
Xanthi and Justin first sparked dating rumors shortly after the finale aired due to their flirty TikToks together.
The pair had very little interaction on the show as Justin entered the villa just as Xanthi left.
Justin also ended the season without a solid connection, and fans have questioned whether there’s something between him and Xanthi.
But Xanthi set fans straight and insisted that she and Justin are just friends and have bonded over both being from Boston.

“Justin and I didn’t really have, like, that big of a connection on the show. We didn’t really chat that much. Was more like surface level, but being from Boston, yeah. And then afterwards, we went out recently to like, this event in the city, and we had a great time,” Xanthi explained.
We’re kind of like, why we didn’t get to talk that much on Perfect Match, but we’re just friends right now. But it was, it was just nice to get to know him off camera as well, with not all the pressure and everything going on.”
However, while noting that she and Justin are not dating, Xanthi admitted that he’s the only one of her costars she wished she’d gotten to know more from the jump.
“So I’d say probably Justin if I had to choose,” Xanthi confessed. “But, you know, everyone kind of showed their colors right away.”
Dozens of reality star hopefuls competed on season 2 of Perfect Match, though only five couples made it to the finale.
Christine Obanor and Nigel Euro eventually secured the title of the Perfect Match and won an all-expenses-paid getaway to anywhere of their choosing.
On June 27, Netflix announced the series was renewed for a third season.
