WXPN’s XPoNential Music Festival Expands 2024 Artist Lineup with Trampled By Turtles, Guster, Greensky Bluegrass and More

This morning, May 15, renowned Philadelphia public radio station WXPN revealed another wave of artists set to perform at the 2024 XPoNential Music Festival on Sept. 20-22 in Camden, N.J. Returning acts like bluegrass-inspired folk band Trampled by Turtles and alt-rock group Guster are among the festival’s latest additions, as well as the jam quintet Greensky Bluegrass. Philadelphia-based singer-songwriters Julia Pratt and Brittany Ann Tranbaugh will also return to this year’s event, located in Wiggins Park—just across the water from their hometown.
These new artists join previously announced ensembles for the outdoor festival’s 31st iteration, including first-timers like funk band George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners and Chicago-based group Brigitte Calls Me Baby. Also featured in WXPN’s curated lineup of waterfront performances are XPoNential festival veterans like Roseanne Cash, Phosphorescent, Jade Bird, The Walkmen, Pete Yorn and Velvet Rouge. Additional 2024 performances include Blondshell, The Heavy Heavy, Lizzie No, Florry, Moustapha Noumbissi, Cedric Burnside, Carla Gamble, Bully and Grace Bowers.
The annual event—hosted by the University of Pennsylvania’s award-winning radio station WXPN, produced with the Camden County Board of Commissioners and presented by Subaru—boasts an eclectic mix of regional and international talents. In line with their promise to promote local artists and cultivate public radio, the festival offers discounted passes and an artist meet-and-greet area for WXPN members.
