Danielle Moinet is prepping her body for the runway in her workout shorts. In a new social media post the model, also known as Summer Rae, shows off her amazing figure in a pair of exercise shorts as she walks on the treadmill. “Back on the runway in 2 weeks so adding in incline cardio,” she wrote across the Instagram Stories clip. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Danielle lifts heavy weights at the gym. “I lift four days a week, and on my fifth day I do HIIT if I have time,” she told Iron Man Magazine. What is her favorite exercise? Deadlift. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
Danielle is one of the many fitness geeks who tracks macros. “Right now I’m eating the most I’ve ever eaten and I’m the leanest I’ve been in years! Alex Carneiro [IFBB Physique pro] wrote me a meal plan at the beginning of the year, and I have learned so much since!” she told Iron Man about her diet. “Generally speaking, I count my macros and I have a goal every day to reach. I get so busy with TV that I actually undereat a lot of the time. I eat three meals a day with two snacks in between. So five meals total.”
“I try to do intense cardio twice a week, but because of my schedule I sometimes have to do it on a lift day,” she revealed. “SoulCycle is my new favorite! I’m pretty obsessed with it, as we just got it in Chicago. I love the positivity in the class and the loud music. If I’m going to do cardio like that for an hour, I need someone yelling at me and pushing me!”
While she eats healthy most of the time, Danielle does indulge on occasion. “Pasta, pizza, and everything chocolate!” are a few of her favorites. As for her go-to clean meal? “Breakfast—three egg whites, one whole egg, oatmeal, and strawberries.”
Danielle drinks “lots of water,” she told Iron Man In a recent post, she revealed that she loves coconut water. “Getting some sun & a good sweat? Sign me up but bring the @onceuponacoconut for this Florida heat 🥵🥥 With potassium, calcium, & magnesium in every sip @onceuponacoconut has become a staple for me during & after every workout! Optimum hydration with no added sweeteners,” she said.
