FAMOUS YouTubers shocked the internet on January 11 2024 when they announced they would be parting ways.
The couple were known for their cute family content and had an incredible 18million subscribers.
Who are the Ace Family?
The Ace family – as they are called on YouTube – are a family of five who delight their YouTube subscribers by sharing entertaining clips of their lives together.
The family consists of dad and mom, Austin and Catherine McBroom, along with their three kids Elle, 6, Alaia, 4 and Steel, 2.
Catherine, 33, works as a model and influencer and Austin, 31, is a basketball player and boxer.
Their content includes everything from daily vlogs, pranks, internet challenges, and even music videos.

Their most viewed clips include one captioned “Surprising My Girls for valentines day” and another titled “Our Dream House Tour.”
Why are Youtubers Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz divorcing?
Catherine has released a statement confirming that she will split from Austin.
It begins: “As I start this new year, I will challenge myself in ways that I have never done before.”
It continues: “2024 will be my year of transformative change and with this taking place, one of the steps in my journey is the difficult decision to leave my marriage.
“We have mutually agreed to a divorce and will part amicably. Our paths as a couple have shifted and has created challenges that are irreconcilable. This decision comes with a very heavy heart.”
The mom explained that despite the breakup being “heartbreaking” she also feels “liberated.”
“I have spent the past few years prioritizing my children and honoring my commitment to my family; all the while I seemed to be losing myself and my own personal happiness,” she wrote.
Catherine concluded the statement by saying: “Our main priority will be to stay united as parents and to continue creating a stable, happy and loving environment for our children.
“Thank you to all of my supporters for giving me a safe space to be able to use my voice and share our love.
“I love you all so much and I’m beyond grateful for all the support we’ve received from you throughout all these years as a couple.”
“And Austin, you’re my best friend and that will never change,”
Austin also took to his own Instagram to comment on the split, writing that leaving the marriage is like “taking a leap of faith.”
What was the Ace Family’s last post?
The Ace families last YouTube post was in the summer of 2023.
It was a video captioned “Answering All Of The Questions”.
During the clip the couple address the question of where they’ve been following a break from the channel.
Catherine says: “We’ve been doing a lot more than you guys can even imagine.”
Austin then chimes in to talk about his recent fight where he got injured and tore a ligament in his foot.
This resulted in him having to do physical therapy for “5 weeks straight.”
He added that he’s hoping to get physical clearance to fight again.
The couple are then asked if they will be coming back to YouTube and posting more often.
Catherine answers: “The truth is we have reached a point in our YouTube career where we weren’t progressing and added she and Austin felt “burnt out and tired.”
Catherine also said that their plans were “in the air” and she doesn’t know how to answer the question.
