Why Angelina Jolie Allegedly Feels ‘Underappreciated’ By Brad Pitt

The Hollywood duo has been entangled in a complex legal battle since their split in 2016, which also led to Pitt’s estrangement from the family.

Angelina Jolie is now reportedly of the opinion that Brad Pitt’s “ruining” of their family has left her as a “single parent” who bears the full burden of raising their children alone.

According to reports, Jolie doesn’t care that her ex-husband, Pitt, was “distraught” upon learning that their son Pax was involved in a bike accident.

An insider close to the actress told InTouch that it doesn’t make “her feel much better” knowing that Pitt feels this way, as she believes the struggles she faces as a “single parent” are “totally underappreciated by him.”

Not only does the “Salt” star feel unappreciated by Pitt, but it is believed that she also blames him for Pax getting involved in such an incident because he “ruined the family they had with his carelessness.”

To Jolie, her 60-year-old ex-husband should only be seen as a “complete deadbeat” who is determined to ruin her life in court despite the fact that she shoulders all the responsibility of raising their kids.

The insider explained, “People have no idea what she’s been through and continues to go through raising six young adults on her own while all he does is spend millions trying to destroy her in court.”

Sources claimed that Jolie was “shocked and worried” when she received the call about the accident.

She has been by his side, supporting him after he was hospitalized due to his complaints about head pain and other injuries sustained during the incident.

In addition to Jolie, Pax’s siblings Maddox, 22; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, have also supported him. The five have visited him in the hospital multiple times, with insiders noting that they share a close bond.

At the hospital, it was discovered that Pax suffered a “complex trauma” and would “need further treatments down the line” but is “very lucky” that the injuries he sustained were not permanently damaging.

No details have been released about how long Pax’s rehabilitation will take or what further treatments may be needed in the future.

According to People Magazine, Jolie, who observed how the hospital staff treated her son, is grateful for the “outstanding medical care he received.”

On July 29, Pax was riding an e-bike when he collided with the rear of a stationary vehicle near an intersection. He was knocked unconscious on impact but was later revived by paramedics and rushed to the hospital.

In the wake of the incident, Jolie was reportedly left “devastated,” especially since Pax wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time, which could have easily cost him his life.

In light of this, she is “so grateful he survived” but also “horrified” that the 20-year-old neglected such an essential safety measure.

Jolie is now “laying down a new set of rules and regulations” in an effort to “protect all [her] kids more,” Jolie is reportedly “laying down a new set of rules and regulations.”

A source explained to In Touch, “She doesn’t care if it comes across as being overprotective, she wants them to be taking way more precautions. If it means upping security so they have constant supervision, then so be it.”

Despite the seriousness of the incident, Pax and his family do not see it as a reason to welcome Pitt back into the fold.

“Don’t expect Pax’s accident to bring the family dynamic back in any way as Pax is 100 percent on Angie’s side and doesn’t want any well wishes or remorse from Brad,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

Pitt has been estranged from the family since his divorce from Jolie in 2016 and has reportedly not been updated on his adopted son’s health due to their ongoing estrangement.

Being kept in the dark about the situation is reportedly “gutting” Pitt, and he hopes that some sort of truce can be reached, at least temporarily, given the seriousness of the situation.

The source added, “He wishes that everyone could be above it all since this situation involves people’s lives, but emotions as they are between Pax, Angie, and Brad are so bad that there will never be a time where it gets to a place where things are OK.”
