WEIGHT loss influencer Mila de Jesus has passed away – leaving behind her four children and newlywed husband.
Mila was 35 when she died unexpectedly from a suspected cardiac arrest, according to reports.
Who was Mila de Jesus?
Brazilian influencer Mila de Jesus was known for her insane weight loss transformation.
She rose to fame on social media after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 2017.
Viewers were shocked when Mila uploaded two photos of her on Instagram, highlighting the dramatic weight loss she went through.
“Six years since a decision that changed my life in various aspects,” she wrote under the before and after pictures.
“On one side, the 22-year-old Mila, and on the other, the 35-year-old Mila.”
Mila was born in Brazil but later moved to Boston, where she spent most of her time.
In another Instagram post, Mila showed her 58,000 followers a skin disease she had been battling called psoriasis.
Psoriasis is a chronic disease that causes flaky patches of skin which form scales.

For some, it can be a minor irritation, but for others, it can have a big impact on their quality of life.
In addition to Mila’s weight loss journey, she was also recognised for her makeup tutorials on YouTube – where she amassed over 100,000 subscribers.
She would also vlog and once videoed herself getting a pregnancy scan.
Condolences have been pouring in on social media from fellow Brazilian influencers and fans.
“A very very special and very loved person… May God comfort your hearts,” wrote Flavia Calina, a Brazilian influencer.
Camila Coelho, an American internet personality said: “Still can’t believe it.
“May God comfort the hearts of the whole family.”
When did Mila de Jesus pass away?
The 35-year-old influencer died on January 12, according to NDTV WORLD.
It has been reported that Mila suffered from a suspected cardiac arrest, but it is unclear what led to her cardiac episode.
In October Mila also revealed that she had been battling with psoriasis which had covered 80% of her body.
Who is Mila de Jesus’ husband George Kowszik?
Mila died just four months after marrying her husband, George Kowszik.
George did not have a social presence as his late wife did but, has one photo of them embracing on his Instagram.
However, fans of the influencer have left condolence messages on his post.
“Sorry for your loss,” a user wrote.
Another added: “May Jesus be your strength, my condolences.”
While a third said: “Mila was one of a kind – I’m sorry for your loss.”

The YouTube star leaves behind her four children from a previous marriage.
Her daughter, Anna Clara, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her mother.
She wrote: “We are very sad to hear of the passing of our beautiful mother.
“We appreciate all the prayers and condolences.”
Anna added: “Continue to pray for us – thank you.”
