WENDY Williams hired jeweler Will Selby as her manager in 2022 shortly after her long-running talk show ended.
Here’s what to know about him and his relationship with The Wendy Williams Show host.
Who is Wendy Williams’s manager Will Selby?
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Will Selby, also known as Wildaboss, is a jeweler, social media personality, and artist manager.
He is the founder of WS Jewelry Inc and created bling for big names in the entertainment industry, including Drake, 50 Cent, Rick Ross, and Fabolous.
According to his website, he is also the CEO of a company called Media Management, which primarily handles artists.
Back in 2020, the same year Wendy divorced her husband Kevin Hunter, she was rumored to have dated Will when they were spotted hanging out, but the host denied it.

“I had an interesting weekend. It was all innocent to me but apparently it caused waves everywhere else. All I’m doing is being Wendy. So I met this young man that I really like. Not in that way, I was setting you up with dramatic effect,” she explained on her show.
“I was only at the studio for 35 minutes. I was with my friend, who is also my jeweler, Will. But and whatever, here is the big [scoop]. Will is my friend, he happens to be a jeweler. I’m one of his probably low-paying clients. I’m not buying jewelry all the time.”
Fast forward to 2022, after The Wendy Williams Show had been canceled, Wendy hired Will to be her manager, and the two joined forces to launch a podcast.
“Will and I are in partnership — Will did all of this for me,” Wendy told TMZ Live at the time.

“Will and I are partnership and the beginning of what we’re going to do — podcasts will be with a certain person, and then we will continue podcasts, and honestly, I don’t know what a podcast is. I can live for the rest of my life doing absolutely nothing, I can’t wait to fall in love.”
The podcast never launched prior to Wendy’s reported enrollment in a treatment facility, but Will previously told The U.S. Sun that they have a lot in store for fans.
“We haven’t taped an episode just yet. Every time we’ve wanted to do so, someone is trying to offer me something so that they can partner with us,” he said in July 2022.
“I started the process of considering shooting something with our first potential guest as Fat Joe. He’s ideal because he’s somebody that she trusts, he is a New York icon and he was the last person that she spoke to. I figured we should pick it up from there.”
What has Wendy Williams’ son said about Will Selby?
Wendy Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter Jr, previously expressed concerns over how his mom was being managed by Selby and his team.
He shared with The U.S. Sun that Wendy was probably being “taken advantage” of by the people around her.
“I know there are all sorts of things happening that I know in her right mind, she would never agree to,” Kevin said.
“As hard as it is seeing her being taken advantage of, I know that if I’m making sure she, as a person, is okay, that is the important thing. Because eventually, she’s going to realize the craziness that’s been going on.”
Selby was quick to refute her statements, telling ET that he only has Wendy’s best interests at heart.
“Taking advantage of her for what? To get what? To do what? I’m not here to brag but I was doing just okay before Wendy came along and I insisted on helping her because she requested my assistance,” he explained.
“Wendy is under a guardianship. Everything that she does gets approved by the guardianship. A court-appointed guardianship. So, no one, even if they wanted to take advantage of her — everything has to get approved by that court,” he added.
“So, any type of business dealings that we do, Wendy, myself and anyone — we have to get the guardianship to sign off on it. So how can anyone take advantage of her?”
