VETERAN talk show host Jon Stewart is widely known for his 16-year-stint leading The Daily Show and will soon be making a return.
The TV heavyweight and political commentator wed his wife Tracey Mcshane – a para-veterinary worker – over two decades ago, here is everything we know about her.
Who is The Daily Show host Jon Stewart’s wife?
Comedian, talk show host, and political commentator, Jon Stewart is married to Tracey McShane — a Philadelphia native born on August 6, 1967.
The loved-up pair met on a blind date in 1995, and married five years later in the year 2000.
Tracey is a para-veterinary worker who co-founded an animal sanctuary in New Jersey with her husband.

Jon and Tracey’s love story dates back to over two decades ago when the two were set up by a crew member on the film, Wishful Thinking.
Speaking on an episode of the Strike Force Five podcast, the comedian recalled that his first date was a disaster.
“I apparently nauseated her, she would not touch her food, so I threw it all down,” Jon remembers.
He didn’t want the date to end so he suggested the two go for drinks. Jon said: “Two shots in and she relaxes.”

From then on, the two got closer and eventually got engaged. Jon proposed to Tracey with a crossword puzzle that was filled with clues that eventually led to the big question.
In November 2000, Jon and Tracey tied the knot.
How many kids do they have?
Since sharing their nuptials, Jon and Tracey welcomed two kids.
In 2004, the duo welcomed their first child, a son named Nathan Thomas Stewart.
Their daughter, Maggie Rose Stewart, was born in 2006.
Speaking on CBS Sunday Morning in 2015, Jon touched on his life as a parent.
The comedian said: “I think having kids impacts your life in a day-to-day way that’s different than your political ideology or leaning.
“It’s much more about like running a small business where you’re trying to keep elves alive.”

On January 24, 2024, news broke that Jon Stewart would be returning as a part-time host on The Daily Show.
Jon is set to return on February 12 and will only be hosting on Mondays to cover the 2024 presidential election.
The show’s X/Twitter account posted a picture of the veteran host sitting at the news desk with the caption: “Here it is, your Moment of Zen.”
