Terry Lindo is the proud owner of Rophe, a home healthcare company in the Carolinas.
She fired Lilly Gaddis, a controversial TikToker and self-proclaimed trad wife, after a video surfaced of the TikToker using a racial slur.
In the statement, the home health care company noted that they had only recently employed Gaddis whose statements “do not align” with the company’s values and beliefs.
It added that the business is “owned and operated by African American female and immigrant-owned business”.
When did Terry Lindo work with Lilly Gaddis?
Reports suggest that Lilly had only worked for Terry for a short time before she received the sack.
The company said: “A newly hired employee made inflammatory remarks on social media.”
The controversial TikToker didn’t seem to be bothered about losing employment.
After she was fired, she wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Oh no I just got fired! #mob.”
Additionally, Lilly has refused to apologize for her actions which enraged a lot of the online community.
She added: “So a recent video of mine seems to have upset members of a certain community.
“All the backlash made me do a deep dive and soul search, and after all that, I still couldn’t find a care.”
However, the TikToker did apologize to the company and she also tried to justify her actions, according to Terry.
Gaddis told Lindo that “she did not mean it in a racially motivated way,” the boss recalled.

Terry admitted that she “didn’t know how to feel” when she watched Lilly’s video in its entirety.
She said: “I don’t like judging people.
“I wanted to talk to her first to be able to conclude my emotions about it.”
Since Terry revealed that she had fired Lilly, the owner has received a string of hate messages, many of them using racial slurs against her and her team.
Despite this, the boss seems unfazed by it and has decided to simply “move on”.
She added: “Look, I have been working very hard to get people to know the name of my business.

We want to make it clear that these sentiments are not representative of our organization, and we do not condone or support such behavior. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, we took immediate action to pull the employee from her assignment which is not directly with any client of ours, and the employee in question is no longer with our company.
We are owned and operated by African American female and immigrant-owned business and handled this situation as quickly as we could. We want to assure you that we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful work environment where all individuals are valued and respected.

Initially, Terry had been firing messages back at trolls but soon realized that not giving them attention was a better option.
She said: “People have the nastiest things to say.
“As if I’m going to let ‘Tom’ from the unknown of Timbuktu say something to make me feel bad.
“Tom, I don’t know you so why would I care about your opinions?
“My emails and voicemail are filled with Toms.
“Glad I can help them pass some time.”
