CONSERVATIVE political commentator Steven Crowder and Hilary Korzon have been married for over 10 years.
However, the YouTube personality has announced that he and his wife are getting a divorce.
Who is Steven Crowder’s estranged wife Hilary Crowder?
Hilary Crowder née Korzon is an interior decorator and former sales manager.
Hilary also studied political science at Calvin College in Michigan and graduated in 2010.
The former pair, who was last known to live in Dallas, Texas, have been open about being devout Christians.
Steven was previously known for regularly shares snaps of his wife with his 1.3million followers on Instagram.
In 2021, he shared photos of Hilary in hospital and later explained she suffers from Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS).
GBS is a condition where nerve cells are damaged and can lead to muscle weakness and even paralysis.
Although Steven has over 5.9million YouTube subscribers on his political commentary YouTube channel Louder with Crowder, Hilary seems to enjoy her privacy.
He is also known for his unique “Change My Mind” segment where he sets up a table with a sign, inviting people to change his mind on a particular subject.
When did Steven marry Hilary?
On August 25, 2012, Steven and Hilary tied the knot after three months of engagement.
Previously, they announced their engagement in March of the same year.
The podcaster revealed via FOX News: “Our wedding was perfect. Our wedding night was nothing short of amazing.
“Feeling judged? I couldn’t care less. You know why? Because my wife and I were judged all throughout our relationship.
“People laughed, scoffed, and poked fun at the young, celibate, naive Christian couple.
“We’d certainly never make it to the wedding without schtupping, and if we did, our ‘wedding night would be awkward and terrible,’ they said.
“Turns out that people couldn’t have been more wrong.”
Hilary and Steven went on to welcome twins, Magnus and Charlotte, in August 2021.
Why is Steven Crowder getting a divorce?
On April 25, 2023, Steven announced he and Hilary decided to end their marriage.
The online personality explained that Hilary filed for divorce sometime in 2021.
During an episode of Louder with Crowder, he told his subscribers: “I have been living with a proverbial boot on my neck for going on years now.
“Since 2021, I’ve been living through what has increasingly been a horrendous divorce…and no, this was not my choice.
“My then-wife decided that she didn’t want to be married anymore and in the state of Texas, that is completely permitted.
“In all this, one thing I wanna be really clear about is certain.
“True north here is that my children are blameless, completely without fault, and so we decided to resolve these issues privately as it’s in their best interest both emotionally and physically to do so.”
