She was discovered after uploading song covers on YouTube under her stage name, Niykee Heaton.

In 2012, her cover of Chief Keef’s Love Sosa was featured on WorldStarHipHop’s official site.
Niykee released her debut single, Bad Intentions, in 2014. The single went on to be certified gold by the RIAA.
