However, she also helped bring the politically-focused documentary about Stormy Daniels, Stormy, to Imagine. It debuted on Peacock on March 18, 2024.
“What’s really fascinating about Stormy is that she is a woman who found herself in the middle of a storm, making American history,” Bernstein told Variety.
“Potentially changing American history. It felt like, of course this could be an Imagine documentary.”
Howard spoke about his and Grazer’s decision to hire Berstein.
“Sara was this force with impeccable credentials, great relationships, great taste, and at her relatively young age was a major player, who knew how to get things done,” he said.
“She has this incredible read on story, but also on the market. She is a businesswoman, which is something that I so appreciate because we are often told that you can’t be both. You can’t be a businesswoman and a creative executive,” Stormy producer Erin Lee Carr added, referring to Bernstein.
Before joining Imagine, the executive worked as senior vice president of HBO Documentary Films for 14 years “under doc titan” Sheila Nevins, per the outlet.
Variety reported that 53-year-old Spurlock died in upstate New York on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from complications of cancer.
“It was a sad day, as we said goodbye to my brother Morgan,” said Craig Spurlock, who worked with his late brother on multiple projects, per the outlet.
“Morgan gave so much through his art, ideas and generosity. Today the world has lost a true creative genius and a special man. I am so proud to have worked together with him.”

Spurlock took the blame for their divorce while speaking with the outlet in 2012.
“We split up because I didn’t make my relationship my priority. I was not valuing her the way I should,” he said.
“You have someone who’s there to support you, and you take it for granted. I didn’t make her as important in my life as I should have. It was all me.”
According to her website, Jamieson has also worked as an executive leadership coach for over 20 years and “has developed a suite of Creative Leadership Development programs.”
She is also “a five-time best-selling author with a focus in Positive Psychology certification (CAPP).”
She founded the arts organization We Create | NYC, which “curates and produces exhibitions and education experiences featuring living women and non-binary artists.”

“I just want to be present – it’s so easy not to be. I see my son every chance I get. When I was over here shooting I was flying back every Friday night so I could see him for the weekend,” he said.
The star later welcomed Kallen with Bernstein.
“My little warrior, Kallen Marcus Spurlock, came into our world at 11:54 AM. #LoveMyBoys @sarabdocs doing great,” Spurlock wrote in a May 22, 2016 Instagram post featuring the then-newborn.
