Mason Greenwood, born October 2, 2001, is a former Manchester United football player who currently plays for Marseille in France’s Ligue 1.
He is in a relationship with university student Harriet Robson.
The pair now reside in Marseille, France, after Greenwood signed a five-year deal with the club back in July 2024.
At the time of the move, the French team agreed to a £26 million fee with the footballer’s former club, Manchester United.
Greenwood was suspended by United after his arrest for attempted rape, assault and coercive control in January 2022.
The charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February 2023.
Later that year, the club announced that Greenwood would not be returning in what was branded a “collaborative decision”.
Since joining Marseille, Greenwood reportedly earns £70,000 per week.
Prior to making the move, he spent the previous season on loan at Getafe, where he scored 10 goals in 36 games.
Greenwood’s partner Harriet shared a glimpse of their time spent in Spain on Instagram.
Greenwood announces birth of first child
Greenwood announced the couple had welcomed their first child on July 14, 2023.
He celebrated the birth of their daughter Summer with a touching photo on social media.
Greenwood posted a picture of the tiny baby’s hand on his own, with a caption saying: “11.07.23”.
Just over a year later, in October 2024, the couple announced that they were expecting a second child.
Following the news, a source said: ‘’Mason has done a lot of growing up in the last couple of years, especially since he has become a father.
“He and Harriet are enjoying life out of the intense spotlight that comes with being a United player and is much more settled off the pitch, which means he can concentrate on his football.”
Couple welcomes second child
On February 13, 2025, The Sun reported that Mason Greenwood and partner Harriet had welcomed their second daughter.
A source said: “They are both delighted with the safe arrival of their second child. They are really enjoying living in France and are enjoying the simple things.
“Mason is performing well on the pitch and then he comes home to Harriet and his children. Life is simpler and they have less distractions, which is suiting the both of them.”
