Years before they started dating, Doja Cat spoke out about her crush on Joseph.
“joseph quinn fine as sh-t,” Doja wrote in a since-deleted tweet in may 2002, shortly before the fourth season of Stranger Things was released.
Doja even had private messages with Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp, asking him to set her up with Joseph. After he leaked the DMs, she was pissed.
“The fact that Noah did that, like, went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and whack,” she said on a live stream. “That’s borderline snake sh-t, that’s weasel sh-t. And I’m not saying that encapsulates his entire personality. Maybe he is, like, a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it, and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”
