Philip Payne is a music industry professional with over 10 years of experience.
He began his career by co-managing Tory Lanez with Sascha Stone Guttfreund from 2011 to 2020.
Payne is also a co-founder of Melodii Co, which funds and develops new talent, according to Plan A Consultation.
Before his career in music, he was a student-athlete on the University of Texas football team.

Iskra Lawrence and Philip Payne met at a Grammys party in 2018.
Payne told City Lifestyle, “I saw her and tried to not act like I was looking at her. She said she caught my eye, but I thought I was being pretty smooth.
“I walked up to her and the first thing I said was, ‘Are you in a relationship?’
“She said, ‘It’s complicated,’ and I introduced myself and put my number in her phone.
“Then I just walked off. I thought I left an impression. She smiled, it was perfect.
The couple confirmed their relationship in January 2019.
Does Iskra Lawrence have children?
In April 2020, Iskra Lawrence and Philip Payne welcomed their first child, a son named Alpha.
Four years later, on April 18, 2024, Iskra revealed that the couple were expecting their second child.
She shared a photo of the family smiling together as she cradled her baby bump and held a pregnancy test on Instagram.
The photo is paired with the caption, “4 years later and we are finally going to be a family of 4.”
The following week, Iskra opened up about her fertility journey in an interview with The Today Show.
In the April 24 segment, she said, “There was this extra pressure knowing that my son looked around and saw every one of his friends have siblings.
“And he was very aware. He wanted a sibling… He would pray every night at dinner for this sibling.
“My husband has been a rock through all of this but also said to me, ‘I don’t want you to overly focus on this. We have our son. We have our blessing. If that’s all it’s going to be, that’s okay too.'”
