Ty Olsson is an actor born in Nova Scotia, Canada, on January 28, 1974.
He is best known for his work in X2, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and War for the Planet of the Apes.
Olsson also acted in the TV show Supernatural. Although they don’t share any episodes, DJ Qualls has also acted on the show.
According to IMDb, Olsson was married to Leanna Nash from 2005 until 2012.
Throughout their marriage, the ex-couple welcomed two children.
What did DJ Qualls say about their engagement?
Olsson and DJ Qualls were both guest stars on the TV show Supernatural and met at a convention for the popular series.
On the Locked & Probably Loaded podcast, which he cohosts, Qualls said he and Olsson “didn’t know each other at all” at that time.
He added, “We maybe said three words to each other at the Supernatural convention, and then we went to London for four or five days afterward.”
Qualls then recalled how Olsson asked if he could join Qualls and his friends on a trip to Turkey. He said, “It was the beginning of our friendship.”
Qualls described Olsson as one of the “most wonderful” people he’s ever met.
“It’s just so crazy that this person who was just my friend, now I think about all the time and he sends the best messages, and he supports me and loves me unconditionally in the right way,” Qualls continued.
“Ty was the first person in my entire life, my entire life that [I] ever had that with,” Qualls said.
“I say just a friend. [He is] the best friend I ever had, and now we’re going to be old men together, which is so crazy.”

Who is DJ Qualls?
DJ Qualls is an actor known for his roles in shows like Z Nation and Supernatural.
He played a werewolf on Supernatural for six episodes. The Tenessee native also portrayed Simon, also known as Citizen Z, in Z nation.
For 30 episodes, he acted in The Man in the High Castle. Olsson also worked on the series, albeit separate from his fiancé.
