On Wednesday, Florida governor and Republican presidential candidate failure Ron DeSantis signed legislation to ban lab-grown meat in the state.
A photo of DeSantis standing around slabs of meat the day of the signing has been going viral on Twitter, but not because of anything DeSantis did, but rather, because of who was in the crowd.
Calah Jackson of the Peacock reality TV series The McBee Dynasty was pictured at the event and she immediately stole the show, as a handful of viral tweets tried to figure out who she is (which certainly didn’t take long because she already has some level of fame with over 90,000 followers on Instagram).
“I don’t care about the f—— meat dude. What’s her @,” said a tweet with over 10 million views.
Her reality TV series The McBee Dynasty premiered on USA Network and Peacock back in March.
Here is the official synopsis for the series, via Peacock:
“The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, a thrilling new reality series, takes viewers behind the scenes of the high-stakes world of farming and ranching in rural Missouri. McBee Farm and Cattle is on the brink of becoming a billion-dollar business… or a financial disaster. It all depends on the decision from a venture capital firm of over $100 million.”
Jackson and her boyfriend Steve McBee met on the Fox reality TV series Joe Millionaire in 2022, which Jackson won after she was selected as McBee’s winner.
The premise of Joe Millionaire, which premiered in 2003 and was revived in 2022 as Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer, is that the contestants believe they are dating a millionaire, only to find out at the end he was a blue-collar worker. However, if the woman decided to stay in the relationship, the couple would be rewarded $1,000,000.
In For Richer or Poorer, however, Jackson and the rest of the women on the show were competing over two bachelors, one of whom is already a millionaire, although they did not know which.
