Who is Bradley Walsh’s wife Donna Derby?
Donna Derby and Bradley Walsh have been married since 1997.
She is a renowned choreographer and former dancer, having choreographed routines on Miss World.
She rose to fame after dancing in Robert Palmer’s 1980s hit record Simply Irresistible.
In the late 1980s Donna also enjoyed a brief stint as an actress and appeared in six episodes of in The Kenny Everett Television Show.
Most recently, Donna returned to her beauty pageant routes this time as an esteemed judge.
Away from work, Donna often attends red carpet events with her husband arm in arm.
How long have they been married?
The couple have been married for more than two decades, tying the knot in 1997.
However, they first got together in 1992.
Bradley told Huffington Post the thing that keeps him most grounded is “my wife especially.
“Without a shadow of a doubt.”
He also told The Mirror: “I wouldn’t swap my missus for the world.
“Donna isn’t just beautiful, she’s the most fantastic wife and mother.”
Bradley credits his wife for making him join Coronation Street in 2004 as he had reservations given the distance it would put in their relationship.
“She is the one who recognised what it could do for me even though it would mean being apart.”
Bradley once cheekily squeezed her breasts for paparazzi on the red carpet.
How many children do they have?
Donna and Bradley share one son, Barney who works in TV like his dad.
Bradley also has an older daughter, Hayley, from a previous relationship.
Bradley welcomed his daughter into the world in 1982.
Bradley also holds the title of ‘proud grandfather’ after his daughter Hayley welcomed a healthy baby boy with her partner Tom.
Bradley told Saga magazine, he shared: “I am a grandfather! My daughter and her husband Tom have had a baby boy who is coming up for five months old.
“It’s been tricky as during lockdown no one could get to see their grandchildren. Thank God for FaceTime – it has kept people in touch.”
The excited actor added: “I’m going to be a brilliant grandfather because I’ve got this trick.
“When the baby grows into a toddler, make sure you spend plenty of time with them, feeding them ice cream and Coca-Cola, and then give them back at just the right time and say to your children, ‘There you are, that’s what you were like.’ “
