WhistlinDiesel tore a Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII to shreds after taking it for a destructible joy ride.
YouTuber WhistlinDiesel calls himself the “CEO of destruction” — and rightfully so. His channel was created in 2015, where he shares videos of himself destroying various vehicles and testing their durability.
Some of his most popular posts are ‘Cybertruck Durability Test #1’ and ‘Hellcat on Horse & Buggy Wheels Goes to Town and Does Burnouts.’ Combined, the videos garnered over 50M views.
On February 20, WhistlinDiesel added to his video archive with footage of him destroying a $400,000 Rolls-Royce. Though the YouTuber said his friend loaned him the luxury car and requested he not damage it, he did the complete opposite.
“Just like Grand Theft Auto, there are no rules. We’re going to be hitting people on sidewalks, running vehicles off the road, all that good stuff. And just like GTA, this car isn’t ours, so we’re going to drive it like we stole it,” he said.
At one point in the 17-minute video, WhistlinDiesel drove on a highway with the driver’s side tires gliding on top of the road’s cemented median.
“The cars behind us are like, ‘What the f**k did I just see?!’” the creator joked.
WhistlinDiesel uses shredder on wheels to destroy Rolls-Royce
Before imposing extensive damage to the point of non-functionality, WhistlinDiesel took an electric saw to the Phantom VIII and chopped off its muffler and exhaust, among other central parts of the vehicle.
By the end of the video, the YouTuber used a shredder on wheels to destroy the Rolls-Royce. “I just feel like making it a convertible,” he joked as he began to shred the hood of the vehicle.
WhistlinDiesel deconstructed the Rolls-Royce before destroying it with a shredder.
The shredder also served as a forklift, so WhistlinDiesel was able to flip the car on its side and upside down to ensure he tore it into as many pieces as possible.
Shrapnel from the Rolls-Royce flew everywhere, nearly hitting the YouTuber’s team and friends. “This… might be beyond repair,” a viewer sarcastically commented.
WhistlinDiesel even posted a link at the end of his video, where viewers can buy a jar of fragments of the destruction for $199. There are 499 available, and the YouTuber personally signed each order.
In January, the YouTuber also saw great success with his video about retrieving a truck from an auto shop. After hearing about a woman whose vehicle was being withheld from her, WhistlinDiesel tracked the truck down and returned it to her. Though the truck was supposed to be under repair, almost nothing had been fixed.
