On January 8, 2024, TMZ announced that Lisa Bonet had filed for divorce from her long-time partner Jason Momoa.
The divorce was filed about two years after the couple announced that they were separating.
Per Page Six, the divorce was finalized on the same day of the filing.
TMZ also reported that the court documents cite October 7, 2020, as the couple’s official date of separation.
The pair were first linked romantically in 2005 and tied the knot in 2017.
In May 2024, Jason Momoa confirmed he was in a relationship with Adria Arjona.
The actor shared photos of a trip to Japan on Instagram, some of which featured Arjona.
He revealed their relationship in his caption, which read: “Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind.

When did the pair split for the first time?
The news of the divorce came after Jason and Lisa had decided to live together again in 2022, following a brief split that year.
In a now-deleted Instagram post from January 2022, Jason explained the reason behind the couple’s first split.
He stated: “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding – and our family is of no exception…Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so – We share our Family news – That we are parting ways in marriage.”
Jason continued: “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy – But so that – as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lives. We free each other – to be who we are learning to become…”
He concluded by saying: “Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children. Teaching out (sic) Children What’s possible – Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail.”
However, the split was short-lived and the couple appeared to make amends a month later.
According to Hollywood Life, a source close to the couple stated: “Jason moved back in with Lisa about two weeks ago and they are very much back together. They decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other.”

Do Jason and Lisa have children together?
The couple shares two children – a daughter, Lola, 14, and a son, Nakoa-Wolf, 13.
Their first child, Lola Iolani Momoa, was born in 2007.
Their second child, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Momoa, was born in 2008.
The former couple will share joint custody of their children, according to People.
Jason also has a close relationship with Lisa’s eldest daughter, Zoe Kravitz, whom she shares with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.
