On Nov 9., Weedie Braimah and his band, The Hands of Time, kicked off their two-night run at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City.
During their performance, the Ghana-born and East St. Louis-raised artist and his band showcased his mastery over the Djembe and showed the reason why many regard him as the premiere voice of the instrument. Braimah and the band did so by sharing cuts off his 2021 LP Hands of Time.
