WAYNE’S World star Tia Carrere looked like she was ageing backwards at the 21st Unforgettable Gala this week.
Tia, 57, stunned fans in a plunging black dress with silver floral embellishments while walking the red carpet in Los Angeles.
She accessorised her look with a floral necklace and accentuated her natural beauty with a full face of make-up.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 32 years since the iconic comedy’s release.
Based on a Saturday Night Live sketch, it starred Mike Myers as Wayne Campbell and Dana Carvey as Garth Algar, a pair of rock and heavy metal fans.
In the film, they broadcast a cable TV show from the basement of Wayne’s parents’ house.
Tia, who played Cassandra Wong, the lead singer of a local band, continues to work today and is currently filming the highly-anticipated Lilo & Stitch remake.
She has also starred in Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest and RuPaul’s Netflix series, AJ and the Queen, in recent years.
Mike and Dana delighted fans when they reprised their roles from Wayne’s World a few years back.
The pair joined forces with Cardi B for Uber Eats’ Super Bowl advert in 2021.
In the clip, the rapper joined characters Wayne and Garth to perform a TikTok dance craze and sing the characters’ theme song – with the lyrics changed to celebrate “local eats” and “yummy time”.
Mike said: “Wayne and Garth are the happiest characters we’ve ever played, and it just seemed like the world really needs them right now.”
