Nova Twins brought riffs to the Mercury Prize award ceremony and showed exactly why they were up for the honour.
Last night the 2022 Mercury Prize ceremony took place, bringing together some of the best and brightest in UK music for one big celebration.
Little Simz was the winner with their album ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’, but there was one album on the shortlist that stuck out for all the best reasons.
That was ‘Supernova’, the second album from Nova Twins, which dropped earlier this year.
An empowering, eccentric, electric collection of songs that pushed the girls into exciting new waters, it’s worthy of all of the plaudits it has received.
And the girls made the most of their time on the main stage with a performance of ‘Antagonist’.
