WARGASM are set to perform their debut album live and direct from a tank graveyard this coming Monday, July 08.
The pair, consisting of Sam Matlock and Milkie Way, will be playing their feisty first full-length loud and proud from the site based in the middle of England.
We’re told there may well be drones and pyrotechnics in this special one-off performance, which is set to be live-streamed via the platform VIERLIVE – click here to access the platform and for more information.
The platform has so far worked with the likes of Papa Roach and girl in red and say they’re main goal is to “work with an artist and their team to focus on bespoke, one-off events… Focusing on a location important to the artist, adding value for the superfan and exploring ways to make the event as unique as possible.”
It appears they’re all set to do just that with WARGASM in this venture, with a setting that’s befitting of the duo’s scintillating debut.
Speaking about the sound of their debut LP to Rock Sound upon its release, as part of our ‘The Album Story’ feature, Milkie shared:
“Most of the vocal takes on ‘Venom’ are from the first take that we ran through.
“You can try and recreate a vocal as much as you want, but it’s never going to sound like the first take.”
Sam added:
“If you’ve got the magic, leave it alone. Then live, you’ve got all the free energy that gets fed to you from the crowd.”
And we’ll be hearing that live magic in full force (even if the crowd are watching from a safe virtual distance) at a tank graveyard next Monday.
