Wage War are going to be releasing a full stripped-back release very soon, but for now, we have a stirring taster.
Wage War have always loved an acoustic version, taking their crushing metalcore sound and stripping it down to its bare bones.
And it looks like now we are getting a whole session’s worth of acoustic versions, which will be a real treat.

For now though, we have ‘Godspeed’, and it is stunning.
Atmospherically stirring, beautifully smoky and wonderfully driving, it’s wonderful stuff from the band and the beginning of what is set to be a special release.
The band had this to say about it:
“‘Godspeed’ was one of our favorite songs off of Manic. As soon as we finished in the studio, we knew it need the ‘Stripped’ treatment. We always try to give each song its own unique style. Growing up in the South, the song naturally adopted a country flare. We hope everyone enjoys the first acoustic breakdown — that we know of.”
