Vittoria Ceretti has publicly acknowledged her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time, though her interest in getting candid about her private life continues to be minimal.
The 26-year-old Italian model graces the cover of Vogue France’s April issue, and in the accompanying interview, she offered a brief glimpse at her romance with DiCaprio, 50, who is not identified by name but instead referred to as “a very, very famous actor” by the outlet.
When asked about being in a relationship with “one of the most desired people in the world,” Ceretti said it required a period of adjustment but shrugged off the implication that she experienced jealousy along the way.
“It’s something you learn. If what you’re experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed,” she said. “Because love protects and gives confidence.”
As for being labeled the partner of a public figure who is more famous than she is, she describes the experience as “extremely annoying.”
“Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so’s girlfriend who was so-and-so’s ex,” she said. “So it’s not nice to think that you can’t love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Ceretti tells Vogue France she and DiCaprio met in Milan, Italy, before quickly clarifying: “But I prefer not to go into details.” She’s also a fan of her boyfriend’s performance in “Titanic,” calling it “an iconic film,” but goes on to thank writer Arthur Dreyfus when he changes the subject.
Ceretti and DiCaprio were first linked in the media in August 2023, when they were spotted getting ice cream together in Santa Barbara, California. Not surprisingly, much of the discourse around their relationship alluded to their 24-year age gap.
Weeks later, the pair were photographed with DiCaprio’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, in Italy.

Prior to his relationship with Ceretti, DiCaprio was dating model Gigi Hadid, who went on to couple up with actor Bradley Cooper that fall. As for Ceretti, she wed Italian DJ Matteo Milleri in June 2020, though the timeline of when her marriage ended is unclear.
Though both Ceretti and DiCaprio have kept their romance on the downlow, People reported that the model was in attendance at the “Killers of the Flower Moon” actor’s starry 49th birthday party last year.
“She is very cute, sweet and charming. Leo seems to really like her,” a source told the outlet.
