One Loch Ness Monster hunter believes he caught the creature on camera as a 16 to 18 foot long object appears to surface on the water in a recent webcam video of the loch.

Eoin O’Faodhagain, who has claimed to have seen the Loch Ness Monster more than two dozen times, regularly monitors the Visit Inverness Loch Ness webcams set up around the mysterious body of water. This particular sighting came from a webcam at the Clansman Hotel on July 9th.

“I noticed two dark shapes moving in sequence with each other about 100 yards out into Loch Ness,” the Mirror reports he said.

“My heart jumped and I was astonished at the length of what was coming into view. I thought this is truly an interesting and intriguing sighting, and visually clear.”

“There are no known creatures in Loch Ness that are as large as 16 to 18 feet long,” he continued. “I am not given the impression it’s a fish species.

“And I imagine an eel – even a giant one – would be more flexible and wriggly, but this creature is more rigidly moving. That is why I think there is a lot more body underneath supporting it.”

Eoin O’Faodhagain also believes the two shapes protruding from the surface of the water are both parts of the Loch Ness Monster.

“I think the smaller shape is attached to the larger slender shape, because they maintain the same distance between them throughout the video,” he said. “The only way this is possible is that both shapes belong to one living creature.

“I presume the front object is the head of the creature and is possibly searching for fish close to the surface, as well as keeping an eye on everything above the water. It seems to be watching all around – you may say slightly anxious.

“The creature’s head looked like a round football, and even the swallows were flying all around it doing their own investigation.”

His conclusion? “I think it could be Nessie – ruling out all other known creatures because of size.”

Over this past weekend, O’Faodhagain broke down the footage into a series of images.
