Silvstedt does a lot of things to stay in shape. One thing she is a big fan of is Pilates. In her recent Instagram story, Silvstedt revealed that she likes to do reformer Pilates. Houston Methodist states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “The goal is to be in total control of your body as you move. That requires beginning from your central core muscles and using the stability these muscles provide to smoothly control your arms, legs and other extremities. This is no easy feat, which is what makes Pilates a great way to build strength and stamina.”
Silvstedt revealed some of her wellness secrets to ArabianModa.com. She says that she still indulges from time to time. “First of all, I love to eat,” she says. “I am not your green juices 24/7 kind of girl. I must have a dessert everyday, and especially chocolate. And what is a night like without a glass of wine?”
While Silvstedt doesn’t like to limit herself when it comes to her diet, she does cut some things out. “I try to avoid eating carbs,” she says to ArabianModa.com. “Especially before a photo-shoot. I also try to limit my amount of red meat intake. I guess you can describe my diet as a Mediterranean, wholesome and vegetable-based diet.”
Silvstedt has amazing hair and skin. And she makes sure to take care of them. One thing she does is take different vitamins and supplements. “As for my physique, I try to take a lot of vitamins for my hair and skin,” she tells ArabianModa.com.
Silvstedt loves to spend time outside. She even designed a collection inspired by her favorite outdoor locations. She opened up about this to Riviera Press. “A lot of my vacation time is spent going to St. Barts. It’s a breathtaking island. Aside from the star-studded crowd and amazing restaurants, the island is known for its stunning beaches. Going there, it is almost impossible not to reconnect with nature.”
