Victoria Beckham always joked about keeping a messy home, but not fans are getting a quick peek of it up close and aren’t holding back their feelings.
Victoria Beckham Is A Self-Proclaimed Messy Woman
Footage of the former Spice Girl was shot around her home in Holland Park, and her hotel stays revealed she wasn’t being cute, lying, or exaggerating about how messy she is.
The videos have revealed Beckham’s nasty habits, including unmade beds and clothes thrown everywhere (like a floor covered in clothes, and you know she has a lot of clothing). There are empty and half-empty water bottles on the floor.
Old coffee and tea-stained mugs in her washroom. Honestly, things are kind of everywhere, and people online are slamming the mom of four for not treating her $25 million home with more decency and are appalled that she took this behavior to hotel rooms.
Beckham once even went as far as to call her grand bedroom a “dump: while clothes hung and laid everywhere in the background, and the bed remained unmade with the pillows just kind of everywhere.
David Beckham Outed His Wife
How are we seeing this footage? Victoria’s husband, retired footballer David Beckham, signed up to do a documentary with Netflix focusing on his obsessive-compulsive disorder. Victoria once joked in a GRWM video.
“It’s a dump. You can see why I drive my husband crazy because he is super-super-tidy … This would be giving David a panic attack now, a full-on panic attack…” She then dared to claim that she was a germaphobe!
“I’m a germophobe, everywhere has got to be super-super-clean. I will disinfect everywhere, but I am a bit messy; what will you do?” Now fans will get to see first-hand what David deals with daily.
The series follows David around as he deals with the daily triggers of his OCD, like his wife’s messiness. The doc reveals some shocking details, like the fact that he cleans his hours and hours after his family goes to sleep.
Davis Beckham’s OCD Is Always Triggered
Victoria admits that her husband’s OCD works out in her favor, as the 47-year-old has accepted that OCD makes him clean just about anything, no matter how wild it may sound to someone.
A prime example would be his candles. In the doc, David speaks about the literal obsessive way he takes care of his candles. “I clip the candle wax; I clean the glass; that’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of a candle… I know, it’s weird.”
And the kitchen, well, lucky Victoria, she doesn’t have to do the dishes as long as she holds out until bedtime. David refuses to go to bed with words in the sink. “I hate coming down in the morning, and there are cups and plates and, you know, bowls. It’s tiring going around every single candle cleaning it.”
The athlete brags in the upcoming doc clip, “I clean it so well, I’m not sure it’s appreciated so much by my wife, in all honesty.” How lucky is the self-proclaimed “messy” fashion designer?
