VERIZON customers can claim a hefty discount on a key monthly subscription.
You could save up to $48 a year with this trick – and it’s available from today.
The discount is applied to YouTube Premium, Google‘s paid-for version of its video streaming app.
YouTube Premium has a whole host of benefits, including the removal of ads and offline video viewing.
Normally YouTube Premium costs $13.99 a month.
But if you’re on one of Verizon‘s myPlan subscriptions, you can trim this bill by $3.99 per billing cycle.

That brings the monthly cost down to $10 – saving you $47.88 over the course of a year.
Verizon explains: “Verizon will offer YouTube Premium as one of its monthly myPlan perks.
“Meaning customers get the service for an exclusive monthly price of just $10 (and saving 30%).
“With YouTube Premium, users can watch millions of videos ad-free, can download videos to watch later when you’re offline or on-the-go, including full access to YouTube Music Premium.
“Get the perk starting May 30.”
HOW TO CLAIM THE YOUTUBE PREMIUM PERK
The perk is automatically available on anyone with a Verizon myPlan subscription.
But you’ll need to register it before you get the discount.
First, go to your account dashboard and look for an “action notification”.

Tap set up to begin and then you’ll need to create an account or use one that already exists.
Then set up YouTube Premium by tapping Register.
You’ll be taken to Google where you can follow on-screen instructions to sign in to your Google account.
Google will then ask you to allow Verizon to start, add, or remove subscriptions to your YouTube account.
Once you’re done, the discounted YouTube Premium will become available on your account.
