USHER is experiencing super high demand since his Super Bowl performance.
The singer, who rocked the big game’s halftime show, has been reaping the benefits of having the world watch.
Usher performed an extended set during the Super Bowl‘s intermission.
The star-studded set included guest appearances from past collaborators like Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Lil John, Ludacris and more.
But the 45-year-old hitmaker stood above the rest, and earned rave reviews for his performance.
That has now translated into a massive spike in sales of Usher’s music, merch and upcoming tour.
According to Spotify, overall streams of Usher songs increased 550% in the United States, following his Super Bowl performance.
Also benefiting was Usher’s song Caught Up, with which he kicked off his halftime concert. Streams of that song surged 2,000%.
After his iconic performance, Usher is heading out on tour.
The R&B star is taking his Past Present Future tour on the road, starting in Washington D.C. before ending in Chicago.
Fans are eager to get their hands on tickets after seeing the star’s set last night at Allegiant Stadium – and resale prices have skyrocketed more than 40%.
A bump in sales wasn’t the only good news for Usher.
HE DID
The singer tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer “Jenn” Goicoechea.
While at a Super Bowl afterparty, Usher was photographed wearing what appeared to be a gold band on his left ring finger.
Hours later, People reported the two had indeed gotten married.
The couple had also filed for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, before this weekend’s big game in Las Vegas.
Adding to the earlier speculation, the couple showed up to the party all dressed in white.
The Yeah singer wore a bright white fur coat that reached to the floor.
Jenn, 40, matched in an all-white pantsuit of her own.
LOVE STORY
Usher and Jenn first sparked dating rumors in June 2019, after being spotted together at their mutual friend Keith Thomas’ birthday.
The Confessions singer foreshadowed his big news earlier this week in an interview with People.
“Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” he told the outlet.
“We’ve obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children,” Usher continued. “It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I’m saying?”
“And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect,” he continued.
